​Strong Second Quarter Leads Lady Lions Past Lady Celtics

        Eight players scored for the Lyons Lady Lions as they held off Hutchinson Trinity on Friday afternoon for seventh place by the score of 50-36. Outscoring the Lady Celtics 16-3 in the second quarter, the Lady Lions made seven of 10 free throws in the quarter to help in the effort. 
      Peyton Kruse had 13 points, while Keirah Davis had 12 to lead Lyons (2-10). The Lady Lions finished 17 of 26 from the foul line for the game. The Lady Celtics (1-10) were led by Alex Suter-Tan with a game-high 18 points. Also in double figures was Cienna Maskil with 11 points.
