Scott City lived up to their number one seeding on Thursday night by taking care of GWAC league foe Hugoton by the score of 57-40 to advance to the championship game on Friday night. They will play at 7:30 pm against the host Sterling Black Bears. The Beavers put up 23 first quarter points and led the entire way to move to 9-2 on the season. Hugoton will play for third place against Lyons at 4:30 pm. Both games will be played in the Gleason Center at Sterling College.
