​The Scott City Beavers forced the Lyons Lions into 18 turnovers as they picked up the first-round win. Lyons (4-7) grabbed the early lead 16-12 after the first quarter, but the Beavers (5-4) eventually took the lead in the third quarter. 
    Brody Stoecklein led the Beavers with 23 points. Junior Meza also finished double figures with 11. Paco Espinoza led the Lions with 15 points while Tegan Link followed with 14.
