Lady Beavers knock off Sterling for Third Place

     Behind 13 points from Peyton Gentry and Piper Fox, the Scott City Lady Beavers (5-5) came away with the third place trophy with a 48-37 win over the host Sterling Lady Black Bears.
    Sterling (4-9) took the initial lead 10-9 after the first quarter but could only come up with four points in the second quarter to trail 24-14 at halftime. Aleya Ravenstien led Sterling with a game-high 21 points.
