The Hugoton Lady Eagles, behind a 15-point performance from freshman Natalie Villegas, came back in the second half to defeat the Kingman Lady Eagles, 45-42, in the third-place contest on Friday afternoon. Villegas, who played all but 90 seconds of the game, and fellow freshman Morgan Niehues, who contributed 12 points, led the Hugoton effort.
While both teams shot just over 30 percent from the field, Hugoton (5-6) made three more free throws, going 15 for 19 compared to 12 of 20 for Kingman.
