Behind the scoring of Miguel Hernandez, the Hugoton Eagles advanced to semi-final action on Thursday with a hard-fought 60-52 win over Southeast of Saline. Hernandez, a 5-10 junior, led the Eagles with a game-high 24 points. Leading the way for Southeast of Saline was junior Gannon Jacobson with 20 points.
Now 4-5 on the season, the Eagles will play on Thursday night at 7:30 in the Gleason Center on the campus of Sterling College. With the loss, the Trojans fall to 2-7 and will play on Thursday at 3:00 pm in the losers bracket, also at Sterling College. Comments are closed.
